Having a child who is estranged, or a prodigal can cause a range of emotions, including worry, heartache, and longing for reconciliation. It's important to remember the following:

  • Hope: Holding onto faith for their return.

  • Heartache: Releasing emotional pain to heal your heart.

  • Prayer: Seeking divine intervention and guidance.

  • Love: Pursuing Unconditional affection despite their choices.

  • Forgiveness: Choosing to release emotional pain with hope for reconciliation.

  • Patience: Understanding that healing takes time.

  • Faith: Trusting in God's plan and timing.

  • Support: Surrounding oneself with a community of understanding and compassionate individuals.

  • Perseverance: Continuing to believe and act in God's wisdom despite challenges.

  • Transformation: Pursuing emotional intimacy with Jesus

For inner peace, it’s essential to seek comfort and strength through prayer and a Christian community.

Give God a chance

Release Emotional Angsts

Born with a purpose, of which I don’t know.
Can I still wonder and live in the flow?

Not seeking an encounter with the one who knows all my days.
When will I stop going with the craze?

Mountains of confusion and emotional angst.
Will I give my creator even a chance?

To speak of His love and His care.
I don’t need to ask this in any form of prayer.

“Pause”

I choose to relent and to listen and release.
I need this peace.

Anxiety, false piety, anger, and pain.
Without Jesus, there will be no gain.

“Pause” Selah

I am Elshadi ~ Come and abide!
I ask to catch you and to love you.
To save you now. I know how.

Fall into my arms let me flow.
Now learn as a lamb, forward we go.

No longer wandering without a home.
Come to me now never alone.
