Meet Judy & Daryl Slegh
Rooted in Family
Married since 1982, Judy and Daryl have raised five children who now live in Minneapolis, Seattle, and India. Their family has grown to include four daughter-in-loves, one son-in-love, and two beloved grandchildren.
Family has always been central to their calling, shaping their compassion, patience, and deep understanding of the joys and challenges that come with parenting through every season.
Together, Judy and Daryl teach on topics including prodigals, prayer, inner healing, and rebuilding broken relationships, drawing from both Scripture and lived experience shaped by their family journey.
Outside of ministry, Judy and Daryl enjoy hiking, kayaking, bird watching, and traveling both across the U.S. and abroad.

Meet Judy
Prayer Minister, Educator, and Encourager
Judy has a lifelong passion for prayer and for helping the hurting find hope. In 2010, she founded Nephros Ministries, providing prayer support to individuals from many walks of life, including professionals, those facing addiction, survivors of sex trafficking, and the orphaned.
Her background as a homeschool mom, high school teacher, and adjunct professor at Bethel University equips her to communicate with clarity, compassion, and biblical depth. Judy thoughtfully weaves Scripture, life experience, and practical wisdom to help others understand God’s truth in real and personal ways.
Meet Daryl
Faith Builder, Teacher, and Intercessor
Daryl’s journey reflects steady growth in faith and confidence. Once a natural introvert, he has become a thoughtful teacher and encourager. He has served as an adult Sunday school teacher, shared children’s sermons, and faithfully walked alongside his family in both ministry and everyday life.
After a career as a senior systems computer analyst, Daryl now serves as bookkeeper for Nephros Ministries, Affirming You, and Restoring the Ruins. His passion for prayer continues to shape others through a weekly men’s study focused on growing faith and trust in God.
Engaging Speakers, Drawing From Life Experience
Both Judy and Daryl are trained in inner healing prayer and have used their skills to serve others both locally and overseas.

In 2020, Daryl cared for Judy during her recovery from a bicycle accident, a season that shaped their perspective on faith, perseverance, and prayer.

Before the accident, Judy was an experienced educator, communicating with diverse audiences and using personal life experiences to help explain biblical truths. She has spoken across a variety of platforms, including conferences, retreats, seminars, radio, and social media.
