Why Join The Hopeful Waiting Room?

Updated: 2 days ago

Daryl and I have been contemplating creating an online support group for years after a five-year hiatus. "Do we really need to do this? Why us? What is the value of a private group?" Lastly, "Do we have the time and commitment to dedicate to it fully?"

Evaluating this again, Father God reiterated the answer, "It's time for a new start together after a five-year delay. Together, you will offer others a new perspective to fight the battle. Now live in gratitude to support others in a new way."

Over the years, we have seen God move through personal hurdles and others, resulting in transformations that bring peace and answers to prayer.

Years ago, I (Judy) saw myself walking in an underground labyrinth. It was a dark, constrictive pathway to navigate, with tree roots on the ground and above. I navigated slowly, carrying a single candle, and arrived at a dead end with people waiting for rescue. Some were alone. Some were huddled together, cold and uncertain. As soon as they saw me carrying the light, I felt their hopeful relief at being rescued. I realized this Holy Spirit illumination would guide us out of the darkness as I led and encouraged them.

I was still as God spoke, "Lead those you find that are hurting, stuck, and feeling they have come to a dead end." How?" I asked. He said, "Lead them by the words I give you."

I sensed I was to turn to John 12. As I read the chapter, I sensed a powerful confirmation as I came across the verses, "Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light." (John 12:35b-36 NIV) and, "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." (John 12:46 NIV)

This wisdom gained years ago is addressing the situation of today for both Daryl and me in 2026.

If we sense darkness in our situation as a prodigal, including hopelessness, despair, resentment, and helplessness, we need God's light to guide us. We often need support when we feel darkness is winning.

I then sensed strong words of direction, "Be the light, Judy. Host the light. I will give you balance and the words. Just do it."

So I have. Join me on the journey of leaving darkness, uncertainty, and feeling like you are at a dead end. Be encouraged by a confidential community. Join this private, newly created Hope-filled Waiting Room group to walk in the light by the power of God and His people. God always has the answer for every form of disaster. In this group, He will guide us. We can trust that.
